There are an abundance of activities to enjoy in and around the Resort, though it’s perfectly all right to do nothing at all. Whether you prefer to curl up in front of a fireplace or decide to hike one of the ancient Adirondack trails, the choices are many. Some of our favorite winter activities include ice-skating on the frozen lake, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing pristine trails.
Warmer weather brings endless adventures. Take a tour of Fourth Lake aboard one of our rental boats or bring your own watercraft. Perhaps go swimming or fishing, kayaking or canoeing – This region has the cleanest spring-fed lakes in New York. Shady forests beckon, clear streams tumble along, trails meander toward the sky. The Adirondack Park has 46 mountains over 4,000 feet high, 3,000 lakes and ponds and 30,000 miles of river and stream to explore. And napping in the lean-to is a long-standing Adirondack tradition.
The area has so much to offer. Please simply ask a member of our staff, and we’ll happily provide you with information, suggestions, and advice on making your visit a memorable one.
